AbouT BS PIPE
The manufacturing process involves uncoiling and slitting HR Coils into strips of the required width, which are then progressively formed into a tubular shape through a series of forming rolls. The edges of the formed strip are joined using electric resistance welding (“ERW”), wherein heat generated by electrical resistance is used to weld the edges together. The welded pipes are subsequently sized, straightened and cut to the required lengths before being bundled and dispatched to customers.
