AbouT BS COIL
Following the production of slabs through the continuous casting process, hot slabs are directly transferred to our hot strip mill through a hot charging process, which reduces heat loss and improves energy efficiency. The slabs are then passed through a series of rolling stands where they are progressively reduced in thickness and formed into strips of the desired dimensions. Our hot strip mill is a 4-Hi rolling mill and is equipped with Automatic Gauge Control (“AGC”) technology, which enables precise control over strip thickness and helps minimize thickness variation in HR Coils. The rolled strips are subsequently cooled, coiled and prepared for dispatch.
- Manufacturing Process: We use 4HI technology in automated mills to produce hot-rolled coils with excellent flatness and uniformity for optimal performance.
- Production Capacity: Our mill produces 200,000 MT annually, with coils ranging from 60 mm to 360 mm in width and 0.60 mm to 5.2 mm in thickness.
- Quality Assurance: BS Coils meet IS 10748 standards for quality and precision, with UTM, Spectro, and advanced testing ensuring safety and performance.
